Help

Use the online help to quickly become a Bloxxgame master.

Bloxxgame has a detailed help function that is tailored to the context and adapts to the level of play. The help texts use common terms that are used for blockchain applications.

There is a question mark in the top right-hand corner of each box, which provides explanations for each element in that box. This help also adapts to the game level, the higher the level, the more information is displayed.

In the wallet box, for example, the help text explains all the elements and functions that are available there. The description always starts with the information available at the top and goes through all the elements to the end.
In addition to the description of the box, there are “helpful tips” in a blue square at the bottom, which indicate how to use the box or explore something that goes beyond what you can see at first glance.

The help texts use the current terms used for blockchain applications. We have deliberately refrained from explaining these terms in detail in order to keep the help as short and concise as possible. However, for a teaching unit, it would be interesting to set the students the task of researching some terms and comparing the definition with what they can see in Bloxxgame. For example, when introducing the concept of signatures, which is required for level 2 or higher, you could admit the students to research the principles of asymmetric encryption with “Extended Elliptic Curves”, which are used for the signing algorithm in Bloxxgame.

However, you don’t have to go into the details of technical programming like applying ECDSA with recovery to use Bloxxgame. But Bloxxgame gives you the opportunity to show how it works and why it is important for the security of blockchain transactions.
